The United States Gypsum Corporation (USG) plant in Alabaster awards a $5,000 community grant to the Iosco County Historical Society (ICHS) in East Tawas on March 1. Each year, the USG Foundation awards grants to community partners where the company works. USG has operated in Alabaster since 1902. “We are a proud part of this region’s history and this region is an important part of our company history,” said USG Plant Manager Matt Craig. “The Iosco Museum does a great job telling this community’s story. We are excited to support their work.”
